Each year, FNC engages more than 8,500 children, caregivers, and professionals across Boston, Chelsea, and beyond. Our work is grounded in equity, collaboration, family leadership, and our commitment to creating nurturing communities in which children and families can thrive.

    Position Overview

The Senior Director of Parenting Education & Training serves as a strategic member of Family Nurturing Center’s Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for leading the organization’s parenting education, father engagement, training, curriculum, and technical assistance portfolio. This individual provides strategic and operational leadership to the managers, specialists, training staff, and facilitators responsible for delivering high-quality parenting education and professional learning services.

The Senior Director will partner closely with organizational leadership and external stakeholders to strengthen program quality, expand FNC’s training and technical assistance reach, and position the organization as a recognized leader in parenting education, father engagement, family strengthening, and professional learning. The portfolio of this role exceeds $1 million in revenue annually.

    What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will demonstrate subject matter expertise, strategic thinking, and organizational leadership abilities. They will be able to translate evidence and practice into effective curriculum and learning experiences, assess and prioritize a complex portfolio of programs and training offerings, develop and coach high-performing teams, establish systems for quality and accountability, and represent FNC credibly with public agencies, community organizations, professional networks, funders, and practitioners.

The successful candidate will help FNC strengthen the quality of its own programs while expanding FNC’s role as a statewide resource for parenting education, father engagement, family strengthening, professional learning, and technical assistance.
