Co-op Culture and Business Developer

Co-op Cincy is growing! We’re looking for a full-time Co-op Culture and Business Developer to help our network of unionized worker-owned co-ops thrive.

This role supports co-ops in building strong democratic cultures, solid business practices, and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about workplace democracy, equity, and cooperative economics.

• • Provide hands-on support to co-op leaders and boards
  • Coordinate access to financing, including Seed Commons loans
  • Facilitate trainings and strengthen co-op governance and culture

Healthcare, dental care and short-term disability are provided without a waiting period. Co-op Cincy pays 89.25% of the monthly premium towards individual plans and or 57.1% of family plans. Co-op Cincy completely covers short-term disability. These benefits are made possible through our affiliation with the United Steelworkers.

Union membership with the United Steelworkers is a part of this job. $10 is deducted from your pay to join the union, and then a nominal amount is withheld from each paycheck.
