The mission of Circle of Friends for the Dying is to create a safe, comfortable, home-like space where individuals, with a prognosis of three months or less to live, can dwell in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility at their end of life. Cared for by trained staff and volunteers, these individuals and their loved ones can be assured round-the-clock attention to their needs.
This is a full time position which will continue to evolve as Jim and Lisa’s Circle Home reopens its doors and becomes a fully functional Home, and operational needs become clear.
The Home Manager will:
The Candidate should be knowledgeable in and understand hospice philosophy and the care culture and daily operations of a Home set forth by the Home for the Dying (AKA Comfort Care Home) care model, working with the Board, Staff and Volunteers to reach the goal of maintaining daily operations in accord with the mission of the organization. The candidate needs to appreciate flexibility and working with a small team in a residential home environment.
