    POSITIONSUMMARY:

    NPH USA is seeking an experienced event manager with excellent leadership, organization and communication skills to manage its national portfolioof fundraising events.In partnership with NPH USA leadership, this role will be responsible for leading effortsto develop and execute strategythat maximizes return-on-investment (ROI) on fundraising events.

    Reporting to the Chief Financial Officerand Chief Operating Officer, the Fundraising EventManager will oversee all aspects of event management, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and goals. This is a unique opportunity for a talented event manager to join the team and make impactful contributions to NPH USA’s approach to donor engagement.

    PRIORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Fundraising Event Strategyand Management

    • Partner with NPH USA leadership to develop and execute fundraising event strategies that effectively raise awarenessof the NPH mission, deependonor engagement and increase financial support for the organization.
    • Plan, organize and manage all aspects of major fundraising events across the US (including galas, golf outings, and run/walks) effectively integrating national branding and storytelling strategies.
    • Develop and implement fundraising event management approaches, processes, systems and resources in alignment with NPH USA’s objective to strategically standardize, simplify and scaleits fundraising operation.
    • Develop and deploystandardized fundraising toolkitsto support donor relations teams organize small donor gatherings that create engaging and fulfilling donor experiences.
    • Manage partnerships with vendors to maximize return-on-investment (ROI),control the qualityof the event experience and minimize operational risk.

    Relationship Management & Cross-Departmental Collaboration

    • Provide direction, mentorship, and support to fundraising eventcoordinator(s), fostering a high- performing and motivated team.
    • Organize and managelocal volunteer committees to support the planning, promotion, day-of logistics and post-event follow-up of all major fundraising events.
    • Partner with donorrelations, marketing, recurringgiving and gift processing teams to seamlessly prospect, cultivate, solicit and steward event sponsors and supporters.
    • Collaborate with marketingto strategically brandand promote fundraising events as well as incorporate compelling case-for-support storytelling in event programming.
    • Collaborate with the gift processing team to coordinate fundraising event attendeeregistration, data management and on-site check-in/check-out support.
    • Partner with NPH USA’s leadership to develop and implement fundraising event evaluation strategies to measure donor engagement and event performance.
    • Research evolving industrytrends and best practices to inform the development of fundraising strategies and operational approaches.

    IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

    Candidates should have the following type of experience and characteristics:

    Experience:

    • 5+ years of progressive event management experience, with a strong background in managing large scale events (events raising over $250k plus). Experience in managing galas and golf outings is required.
    • Demonstrated success in leading fundraising campaigns, leveraging marketing, branding and storytelling to increase awareness, deepen donor engagement and drive financial support.
    • Proven experience managingand motivating teams,with a strong ability to foster a collaborative, high-performance, and results-oriented culture.
    • High proficiency with CRM systems(Salesforce preferred), event management software,and team collaboration platforms.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and execute engaging event programing.
      • High level of integrity, accountability, and emotional intelligence in working with diverse constituencies.
      • Ability and willingness to frequently traveldomestically to manage fundraising events.
