    POSITION TYPE: Full-time employee

    SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $65,000

    REPORTS TO: Executive Director

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The Program Manager is a full-time position responsible for leading the implementation of our Suiting and

    Professional Development programs, as well as supporting the launch and growth of new initiatives. This

    role reports directly to the Executive Director.

    We are seeking a candidate who brings:

    • Compassion and understanding of women navigating lived experiences such as housing instability,

    trauma, or mental health challenges

    The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and committed to empowering women as they take the

    next steps in their personal and professional journeys.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Career Coaching Program (Professional Coaching & Workshops):

    • Collaborate with the Executive Director to design, refine, and deliver the Career Coaching program

    and curriculum.

    • Develop and implement a marketing and outreach plan to raise awareness of the Career Coaching

    Program.

    • Facilitate workshops at partner locations when feasible.
    • Recruit, train, coordinate, and evaluate volunteers to support coaching sessions and workshops.
    • Expand Career Coaching initiatives and create tailored programming to increase client engagement and broaden program offerings that align with SFC’s mission.

    Suiting Program

    • Coordinate and schedule Volunteer Stylists to assist clients in selecting professional attire and working in the Boutique.
    • Oversee client appointments and ensure referral partners are informed and supported throughout the process.
    • Collect and record client feedback and survey data into the SFC Client Report Tracker for reporting and grant purposes.
    • Enhance the client styling experience by curating “glimmers” (special touches such as self-care kits, beauty items, or themed clothing drives) under the direction of the Executive Director.
    • Coordinate clothing donations from individuals and groups in partnership with the Program and Development Assistant, ensuring efficient donation drop-off day processes.
    • Provide direct suiting support to clients when needed due to scheduling or Volunteer needs.

    Referral Partner Relationships

    • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing referral partner agencies.
    • Identify, engage, and recruit new partner agencies serving women-identifying clients from diverse backgrounds, communities, and identities.
    • Strengthen relationships with community partners that include LGBTQIA+, BIPOC women, AAPI, and Latinx-identified clients.
    • Collaborate with partners to ensure smooth referral processes and consistent program delivery.
    • Lead the planning and execution of client-facing program events by developing full agendas, directing scheduling, planning, execution, and serving as the primary point of contact. Events include two annual signature program events(Women’s Conference and Mother’s Day Event), partner/client workshops, ‘Reserved Styling Boutique Days’ with referral partners, Private Boutique Sales, and additional initiatives developed or as assigned by the Executive Director.

    Volunteer/Intern Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all volunteer communications, engagement, and recruitment. Your accessibility, flexibility, and creativity foster the growth and overall morale of the Volunteer Team.

    • Recruit, onboard, and train new volunteers. While also reviewing and selecting all prospective volunteer applications
    • Manage scheduling using tools such as SignUpGenius, AppointmentPlus, Eleo, and Google Suite to create and ensure volunteer coverage for special events (fundraising, client-facing engagements, workshops, coaching sessions, and administrative support).
    • Update and maintain accurate volunteer records within the Eleo fundraising database.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director to maintain ongoing volunteer communication, including birthday shout-outs, announcements, Boutique closure updates, and other administrative notices.
    • Responsible for assigning program tasks and coordinating with an SFC Volunteer for Boutique training for all applicable SFC interns.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Social Services) and a minimum of two years of experience in a community service environment.
    • Strong management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders, including volunteers, clients, and referral partners.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
    • Proven ability to collaborate as a team player while also working independently.
    • Skilled at problem-solving and troubleshooting in fast-paced environments, with a professional and solutions-oriented approach.
    • Demonstrated commitment to empowering women and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM Systems, and a high level of adaptability with new technologies and software.
