    • Establish clear responsibilities, goals, expectations, and systems of accountability.
    • Recruit and retain capable staff as needed within the approved budget.
    • Strengthen and expand the Center’s volunteer community and create meaningful opportunities for volunteer participation.

    • Identify opportunities to strengthen revenue, improve efficiency, manage costs, and increase the Center’s long-term sustainability.

    Outreach and Community

    • Strengthen Dharmakaya’s relationships with teachers, retreat leaders, donors, volunteers, participants, and the larger community.
    • Represent the Center professionally to visitors, community organizations, service providers, regulatory bodies, donors, and the public.

    Governance and Compliance

    • Maintain a productive, transparent, and collaborative relationship with the Board of Directors.
    • Ensure appropriate compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the Center as an employer, nonprofit organization, and residential retreat facility.
    • Maintain appropriate standards of confidentiality, privacy, risk management, and organizational integrity.
