Descripción

The Association for General and Liberal Studies (AGLS) seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Director of Operations to provide administrative and operational leadership for the organization. This role supports the Executive Council and contributes to the strategic and logistical success of AGLS programs and initiatives. The Director of Operations serves as a non-voting ex-officio member of the Council and is instrumental in maintaining the organization’s nonprofit status, member engagement, and event execution.

I am able to attend the in-person five-day annual conference held each fall (late Sept, early Oct) in locations across the country for ~140 attendees. (Note: AGLS will cover all travel costs)

I am able to dedicate an average of 5-10hrs per week to this role (remote, flexible).

I am able to attend one virtual meeting with organizational leadership per week during regular business hours.

I am able to manage about one virtual PD event (e.g. webinar, live chat, etc.) per month during regular business hours.
