Part Time Position – hourly pay: $45-48 per hour with varied hours each week to be determined and expected to usually range between 10-15 hours per week, though some weeks may increase to 20 hours per week as needed. Please do not apply if a part-time position is not a fit.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Grant/Business Manager to fully manage all pertinent functions of a significant grant for our non-profit organization working within the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate must have direct experience with grants and grant funding with some knowledge of entertainment industry protocols. Various organizational business management duties are an integral part of the position as well.
Job Essentials, Responsibilities, Duties
This is a new position which will oversee and administer all aspects of APA’s grant funding as they initiate the entire process for recently provided funding of our mission.
Develop a thorough understanding of all grant requirements and deliverables’ necessary for complete adherence of all grant expectations.
Collaborate with all staff members to gather data and information, throughout the yearly life-cycle of the grant, as it applies to quarterly grant reports, yearly close-out and the annual grant application process.
Responsible for clear, concise and accurate writing of all documentation pertaining to maintaining the grant and its annual award.
Ensure the organization’s full compliance, and upkeep of compliance, with all State, Federal and other specific regulations in accordance with rules, principles and policies.
Create and manage grant budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial obligations are met commensurate with grant funding procedures
Build and maintain accurate records so that all pertinent information is relayed appropriately to both internal executives and funders.
Assist in the creation of annual budgets and provide support for the organization’s strategic goals.
Precisely address any and all issues involving the grant and funding in a prompt and timely manner. Establish effective and thorough communication both internally and externally on all grant and funding matters.
Participate remotely in regular internal organizational meetings as well as scheduled meetings with funders.
In tandem with APA’s President, oversee insurance policies and any auditing needs. This individual will play a key role in supporting the financial health of the organization; ensuring smooth, uninterrupted business operations; and providing senior management with strategic insights and financial guidance.
Work and collaborate with internal Payroll/Accountant staff person on organization’s metrics and tracking for all grant and funding purposes.
Assess and advise APA’s business operations, including non-profit certifications and registrations, and keep APA executives apprised of all organizational documentation.
Relationship management of, and engagement with, APA grant funder enabling an excellent rapport and close working alliance with grant makers.
Position Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Grant Management with a side focus on organizational business. A full understanding of protocols and ability to implement grant and business duties for the organization.
Proficient in grant writing and documentation, including budgeting.
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
Ability to work independently and self-schedule according to organization’s and funders needs.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to work from a computer screen and type on a keyboard for extended periods of time as well as talk, hear and exchange information over the telephone, computer and in person.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the entertainment industry
Experience with budgeting software
Experience in and aptitude to learn the use of computer programs and applications includingWord, Excel Spreadsheets, Outlook and general technology comprehension.
Mathematics – High level of knowledge of arithmetic and its applications.
Complex Problem Solving – Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
