    Overview

    Way to Win is seeking experienced consultants or firms to support two critical fundraising priorities:

    1. High-Net-Worth Donor Strategy & Recruitment: Recruit new members into Way to Win’s strategic donor collective and strengthen the pitch and donor engagement strategy for major donors.
    2. PAC Digital Campaign & Donor List Growth: Design and execute a digital campaign to grow our PAC donor list.
    3. House Party and Camp Way Event Strategy: Develop a scalable and engaging donor event strategy to attract new high-net-worth individuals as members and donors of Way.

    Consultants may apply for one, two, or all three scopes of work.

    Scope of Work

    1.High-Net-Worth Donor Recruitment (Way to Win Strategic Donor Collective)

    Goal: Grow our base of aligned high-net-worth individuals committed to funding multiracial democracy and movement-building.

    Services include:

    • Refine and execute a strategic donor recruitment plan to expand the Way to Win donor collective.
    • Develop compelling strategy and messaging tailored for different donor archetypes.
    • Work with the advising team to identify new aligned prospects and set up strategic outreach and follow-up systems.
    • Support preparation and strategy to engage new major donor meetings, events, and cultivation plans.

    2.PAC List Growth & Digital Fundraising Strategy

    Goal: Build a robust PAC donor list through digital campaigns.

    Services include:

    • Design and implement a digital campaign aimed at acquiring new donors for Way to Win PAC.
    • Analyze existing PAC donor base and identify growth opportunities.
    • Provide support for digital testing, segmentation, and ongoing performance analysis.

    3.House Party and Camp Way Event Strategy

    Goal: Build and scale a values-based event strategy that drives new donor acquisition and cultivates deeper engagement.

    Services include:

    • Develop a toolkit and model for high-impact house parties and donor salons, including messaging, collateral, and run-of-show.
    • Design the Camp Way experience as a donor community-building and activation event, aligned with strategic goals and PAC growth.
    • Identify opportunities for localized and national donor activation through events.
    • Support donor follow-up and conversion processes post-event.

    Timeline

    Project launch: ASAP

    Initial strategic plan and deliverables: Within the first 30 days

    Ongoing support: 3-6-month engagement with potential for renewal (depending on scope of work)

    Proposal Requirements

    Please submit a proposal that includes:

    • Cover letter summarizing your interest and experience
    • Approach and work plan for each scope of work (clearly identify if submitting for one, two, or all three)
    • Relevant past work or case studies
    • Key personnel bios and roles
    • Proposed fee structure and estimated hours
    • Two references from similar projects

    Evaluation Criteria

    • Demonstrated success working with major donors and/or digital fundraising
    • Experience with values-aligned progressive organizations and donor collectives
    • Innovative, actionable strategies grounded in donor psychology and movement-building
    • Cultural competency and commitment to racial, gender, and economic justice
