    Who We Are:

Ukandu is the largest and longest-running provider of medically-supervised camp programming available to families battling childhood and adolescent cancer in Oregon. Since 1986, Ukandu has served more than 1600 families and 4000 children providing programming, free of charge, and returning the gift of childhood to thousands of children. Ukandu is expanding programming by launching a first of its kind resource center and mental health clinic to address gaps in the current ecosystem for families navigating the childhood cancer journey.

    What We Believe:

We believe that the healing process for children and families affected by cancer requires holistic support for patients, survivors, siblings, and caregivers. In order to best support these families, healthcare providers must have access to comprehensive, effective resources. Ukandu’s new mental health clinic will bridge the gap between the critical needs of families and the services currently available.
