    Descripción

P26 is the home for Pennsylvania students who are ready to challenge the far-right's attack on our futures and build a Pennsylvania where Gen-Z can lead and thrive.

This Fall, Pennsylvania residents will be voting on whether to keep three of our state supreme court justices on the bench. The outcome of this election will impact the court’s ability to stand up to bad actors and fight for our economic future for the next decade. In the past few years, this court has:

    • Guaranteed overtime pay for overtime work
    • Stood up to Amazon and Uber to ensure that all workers receive fair pay and benefits
    • Halted efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election
    • Upheld programs to pay recent graduates for early career internships

At an estimated 766,000 registered voters enrolled in colleges and universities across the state, Gen-Z students have the power to determine the outcomes of these elections--but only if we get organized now.

Building on work started during the 2023 State Supreme Court Election and in the 2024 Presidential election, we’re building a scrappy and innovative team that will organize and inspire thousands of college students to vote in the upcoming November elections, including the PA Supreme Court Election.

    What Will You Do?

We are looking for a Fellowship Experience Director to lead a student fellow program at campuses distributed across every region of Pennsylvania. We seek someone who is passionate about reaching young voters wherever they are, with a drive for training the next generation of campaign leaders. The role will start in mid-July and run through November 14. This position will be based in Pennsylvania and requires a significant amount of in-person work and travel throughout the state.

    Responsibilities include:

    Fellow Program Management (30%)

    • Work with campus organizers to oversee the planning, development, and execution of the fellowship program on each campus.
    • Supervise and support a team of paid fellows, in partnership with campus organizers.
    • Maintain a statewide fellowship schedule and confirmation system.

    Training & Leadership Development (30%)

    • Design, develop and facilitate training to build fellows capacity with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
    • Continually motivate and support fellow teams, ensuring their engagement and development throughout the election cycle.
    • Identify gaps and opportunities within the fellowship program on different campuses.

    Data Management & Entry (20%)

    • Oversee timely and accurate data entry by fellows into platforms include VAN, BLOCKS, and Mobilize.

    Cross-Team Collaboration & Innovation (20%)

    • Work closely with the Organizing Director and organizing staff to align goals, troubleshoot, and problem-solve.
    • Collaborate with communications and digital staff to elevate fellow stories and amplify impact.

    Who Are You?

A successful candidate for this role will have:

    • Have at least two cycles of campaign experience, with management experience.
    • Strong commitment to progressive values and empowering young people through organizing and leadership development.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive, solutions-oriented team culture.
    • Highly organized and a self-starter, with strong-time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Creative and adaptive– excited to think outside the box and to ideate and innovate to find the most exciting and effective GOTV tactics.
    • Experience with VAN.
    • Willing and able to work long, irregular hours—including weekends and evenings–especially during key mobilization windows (as outlined above).
    • Be located near or be willing to relocate to one of our focus campuses.

    Position Details

    • Compensation & Hours: Compensation for this role is $6,000/month, and includes PTO, health benefits, and a technology stipend. This is a full-time role.
      • There may be points throughout the year where the Fellow Experience Director is asked to work additional hours and/or weekends (specifically around Welcome Weeks and GOTV).
    • Blackout Periods: Over the course of any given election cycle, our organization will go through several key mobilization periods–during these dates, we will have a staff “blackout” on PTO. This means that barring parental, bereavement, or another protected leave class, staff will not be able to take PTO during these times.
      • 10 days before a General or Primary election
      • 10 days before a Voter Registration Deadline
      • The month of August
    • To Apply: Please submit this short application. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

We are an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected category under local, state or federal law.

We see diversity of all kinds as essential to doing our work well. We strive to build a team that reflects the diverse composition of America itself. We strongly encourage applications from structurally marginalized and under-represented communities and experiences to apply.
