Are you an endless well of creativity for social video? Do you have a deep passion for influencing social and political change? Then you might be the next Digital Media Manager for The Communications Hub at Fuse. This is more than just social media content creation. While your primary role will be to create video content in support of Fuse’s priority legislative and electoral campaigns, you will also be a key contributor to our strategy to remain on the cutting edge of digital communications. The person in this role must be passionate about taking on the right-wing media disinformation machine and committed to ensuring our progressive messages reach the right audiences. You will work to boost our shared narrative, influence public conversation, and see our messages repeated across social media statewide, on a priority issue, or in a target district.
Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator and storyteller, who happens to love telling stories through video. You are a content creator for multiple platforms - including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube - with the ability to convey important information for a variety of audiences.
What is the Communications Hub?
The Communications Hub at Fuse Washington is a team of narrative builders and storytellers who are passionate about making progressive change in our communities through public policy and local elections. Our narrative development and partner training programs have helped secure major policy wins at the state Legislature as well as candidate and ballot campaigns. Our team supports progressive coalitions and partner organizations by providing skills-building trainings for communicators to ensure that they are telling the most compelling stories about their policy work.
The person in this position will work closely with our Art Director and reports to the Senior Director of Communications.

This full-time position is located in Seattle, with a starting date as soon as possible. Fuse staff work a hybrid schedule, with an in-office requirement of 2 days per week. Work hours are flexible, and we have a creative work environment.

Fuse offers excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a retirement package with a 3% employer match, 15 days per year of paid vacation for new employees that increases to 25 days after 5 years, 10 paid holidays, 8 hours of sick leave per month, and a paid sabbatical after 5 years of employment. In addition, Fuse is closed for the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
