    Bottomless Closet is currently recruiting a Program Coordinator – Client Services.

    Bottomless Closet is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to inspire and guide disadvantaged New York City women to enter the workforce and achieve success. Comprehensive services include the selection and provision of high-quality interview attire, 1:1 resume review/preparation and interview coaching, as well as a broad workshop curriculum that promotes professional development, financial management, digital literacy, and personal enrichment. We facilitate entrance into the workforce, build core competencies for workplace success, increase self-confidence and self-esteem, and transform women’s vision of their potential. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including women who are on public assistance, formerly incarcerated, single mothers, domestic violence survivors, and women living in shelters. Over 25 years, we have helped nearly 50,000 clients by providing our services free of charge to help them on their path to self-sufficiency.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Bottomless Closet is currently recruiting for a Program Coordinator. This individual will serve as the coordinator for all client service appointments. The Program Coordinator will build and maintain referral partner relationships to ensure a smooth appointment scheduling process, where clients are informed and understand the expectations of their appointment and referral partners are referring clients in accordance with programmatic guidelines.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    PROGRAMMING

      • Coordinate with partner organizations, via phone and e-mail, to receive client referrals.
      • Communicate with clients, via phone and email, to confirm desired appointment type, schedule appointments, set expectations, and to receive client resumes and other supportive documents.
      • Work with Calendly to manage and confirm client appointments.
      • Enter client appointment data into our internal database promptly and accurately.
      • Coordinate reports and analysis as necessary for monthly metrics and other purposes.
      • Communicate with organizations interested in establishing a referral partnership with Bottomless Closet regarding application requirements and services offered.
      • Prepare materials for and lead referral partner orientations (in-person and virtual).
      • Maintain up to date referral partner profiles in our database
      • Maintain regular communication and accurate tracking of referral partner to ensure that we stay up to date with staff changes and organizational updates.
      • Identify the need for referral partner re-orientation, further communication or field visits.
      • Provide coverage for other members of the Program Team when necessary.
      • Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as requested by the Program Director and/or Executive Director.

    SUPERVISION

    • The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director.

    SCHEDULE

    • The position is full-time. The ability to work flexible hours is required; specific hours will be determined based on organizational needs. Hybrid, in-person 4 days per week.

    QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or the equivalent in work experience
      • Professional and friendly demeanor with a drive to deliver excellence in customer service
      • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal); desire to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers and community partners
      • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
      • Ability to accomplish a variety of tasks, projects and responsibilities in a busy work environment
      • Ability to follow directions closely, work independently and follow up on work assignments
      • Committed to the mission of Bottomless Closet and a desire and ability to work with diverse populations required
      • Understanding of and ability to maintain professional boundaries
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
      • Strong data entry skills are a plus
      • Experience with Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce or equivalent, is a plus
      • S/he will thrive in a culture of contagious positive energy, high performance, and teamwork
      • Bilingual English/Spanish a strong plus
