New York Public Interest Research Group Fund (NYPIRG), the leading environmental organization in New York, is hiring passionate and motivated activists for a statewide campaign to protect the environment and public health by fighting against global warming and climate change.

Climate change is the most urgent issue of our time. Our 2026 campaign will prioritize holding big polluters accountable for the damages they’ve caused to our environment, climate and public health, as we move towards a fossil-free future.

• Earn $16.25 per hour
• Additional performance-based bonuses
• Rapid advancement opportunities for qualified individuals.
• Full-time hours: 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday - Friday
• Benefits include health coverage and paid vacation after 90 days.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Energetic and ready to help grow a grassroots movement and stop climate change
• Desire to educate and engage citizens on campaigns like holding big polluters accountable
• Good communication skills
• Strong concern for environmental and social justice issues
• Prior campaign experience a plus
