Friends of Berkeley Tuolumne Camp (FOBTC) is seeking an inspiring and innovative non-profit leader to serve as our next Executive Director (ED).
The ED will provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, fundraising strategy, and operational oversight for FOBTC, a nonprofit organization working with the City of Berkeley staff to enhance the Camp experience at Berkeley Tuolumne Camp. This role requires a leader who can drive the organization’s work to promote and support Camp, raise funds for programs, expand support for diverse communities, continue nature stewardship, improve community engagement, and help ensure a vibrant camp for future generations.
The ED will oversee the organization’s programs, fundraising, operations, Board relations and financial management, while fostering a positive culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
This is a work-from-home job, but requires regular in person events and meetings in the Berkeley area and sometimes at Camp near Yosemite National Park.
The ED will oversee the organization’s programs, fundraising, operations, Board relations and financial management, while fostering a positive culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
This is a full-time exempt position with unlimited PTO (no other benefits). The ED reports to the Board of Directors and provides direct supervision to the Communications and Fundraising Coordinator. The ED will also work directly with the City of Berkeley’s Parks, Recreation and Waterfront Division staff.
