The Hopewell Museum is seeking a Director of Development to lead our fundraising efforts as the museum continues to grow. The Director of Development will be an active fundraiser, enhance revenue through individual and corporate partnerships, and write grant applications. We want a Director of Development who feels free to explore ideas that advance this position's goals while also serving as a collaborator in museum affairs and programming. This position reports to the Executive Director.
The Hopewell Museum tells the history of the Hopewell Valley and all who have lived there. Some of our collection dates back 10,000 years to the first indigenous people who called Hopewell home. Our collections consist of Neolithic tools, antique china, glass, silver, pewter, furniture, militaria, and a large textile collection, among other objects. The Museum is active in the community, runs regular programming, and maintains strong relationships with community partners.
Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

After a year, this position may include more hours if both parties are inclined.
