    General Description

    The Workplace Experience and Operations Manager’s main objective is to manage all TWS workspaces—including the Washington, DC and Denver Hubs, as well as all regional offices— and ensure proper physical operations, oversight of various service contracts, maintain access to necessary operational resources, achieve cost-effective service delivery, prioritize the health and safety of staff and visitors, and reduce our environmental impact. This position provides outstanding customer service and oversees the daily operational functions and strategic projects across the TWS physical footprint in support of a values-based workplace culture.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Multi-Office & Workspace Management (DC, Denver, and Regional Offices)

    • Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations related to the upkeep, maintenance, repair, and security of all assigned TWS workspaces and offices. Act as the primary liaison with building management, vendors, and contractors across all locations.
    • Office Space Allocation & Moves: Manage space allocations and office moves and across the organization Including new hire office and key fob assignments.
    • DC Office Specifics: Oversee specific DC office functions including supporting subleasing of National and Regional offices spaces along with the implementation of best practice office guidelines
    • Vendor and Inventory: Manage a wide variety of vendor relationships, maintenance contracts, and inventory of office equipment and supplies for assigned offices, ensuring all decisions align with organizational policy and prioritize staff health and safety.
      • Technology Support: Provide technical and logistical support for hybrid, in-person, and virtual meetings across all offices, ensuring the conference room, AV and video conferencing equipment is fully functional and ready for use by staff and visitors.
      • Storage Spaces Management & Support: Manage on-site storage space at DC Office and manage and support off-site storage spaces (Denver Office and support of regional office storage spaces).
      • Meeting and Event Management: Provide scheduling, logistics, coordination, and AV support for virtual and in-person meetings and events.

    Organizational Operations & Administration

      • Communication: Administer the organization-wide calendar and coordinate People & Operations communications across TWS channels.
      • Continuous Improvement: Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in any aspects relating to increased performance, cost-effectiveness, and staff experiences within the operational sphere.

    Strategic Projects & Cross-Functional Collaboration

      • Project Leadership: Manage a portfolio of facilities and operational projects that support TWS priorities across the organization.
      • Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as a key liaison across departments, including Human Resources, Technology, and Finance coordinating systems and facility changes to ensure smooth organizational transitions.
      • Logistics Support: Provide logistics support for TWS team retreats and celebrations, ensuring the equitable distribution of resources and planning.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5years of Office Operations experience in a medium-size organization
    • Experience in an organization with multiple locations (national or regional) is strongly preferred.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
    • Customer service–oriented approach with a positive, professional demeanor.
    • Demonstrated experience successfully managing a variety of vendor relationships and service contracts.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
    • General knowledge of operating office equipment
    • Proficiency in with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Experience with IT and AV software and equipment in support of team and organization meetings and gatherings.
    • Ability to lift and move boxes, office supplies, and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to travel to regional and hub offices for support as needed.

    This is a full-time in office position at our organizational headquarters based at 1801 Pennsylvania Ave NW in Washington DC. The salary range for this position is $85,000-$92,000. The application deadline for this position is December 21st, 2025.
