Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the 12-month temporary, part-time Fundraising Coordinator works in partnership with staff, volunteers, and community partners to execute key fundraising initiatives. This role is heavily focused on the hands-on coordination of fundraising events, seasonal campaigns, and active donor engagement, with additional focus on marketing and communications. Desired start time is September 1st.
This position is primarily in the office with travel to off-site meetings with funders etc. as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Position Type: Part-Time, Temporary (12 months will possibility of extension)
- 15-20 hours per week (hourly, non-exempt)
- Reports to: Executive Director
- Location: Onsite with off-site meetings anticipated
- Hourly wage: ($30.00-32.00/hr)

Core Responsibilities
- Fundraising Events and Campaigns:
- Coordinate the logistics, planning, execution, and assessment of targeted fundraising events and seasonal campaigns in alignment with annual goals, including our main fundraising event later in the year ($70,000 goal)
- Spearhead smaller online campaigns such as Giving Tuesday, and other opportunities for engagement.
- Monitor event timelines, vendor relationships, and event budgets under the guidance of leadership.
- Connect with local churches and businesses for increased engagement and giving.
- Assist in tracking progress toward event-specific and general fundraising milestones.
- Donor (and event volunteer) Engagement:
- Actively engage new and existing donors through targeted relationship-building, thank-you campaigns, and donor stewardship outreach.
- Track and log donor interactions and contributions utilizing relationship management tools
- Oversee the event-specific volunteer process, including supporting staff with volunteer onboarding, coordinating volunteer schedules, and maintaining responsive communication
- Marketing and Communications:
- Develop and distribute promotional and marketing materials for events and campaigns in collaboration with leadership and program staff.
- Coordinate the regular distribution of marketing and communication materials across diverse channels, including print, email newsletters, and social media.
- Maintain brand consistency across all campaign and event materials to promote internal and external alignment.
- Maintain up-to-date engagement styles on social platforms to reach and cultivate new audiences.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in event coordination, fundraising campaigns, and/or nonprofit marketing.
- Strong record of relationship-building and organizing volunteers or public events.
- Passion for community empowerment, relationship building, and the mission of TTNS.
- Effective communication skills, including written, verbal, and digital outreach.
