    Descripción

We’re looking for someone who brings a strong understanding of transformative philanthropy and can apply that knowledge to thoughtful, community-informed funding decisions. The ideal candidate is a skilled relationship-builder, grounded in racial justice and anti-oppressive principles, who centers community trust in their approach to grantmaking.

Working closely with the Assistant Director of Programs and the Grants Team, the Senior Program Officer will support the development of our multi-year Community Grants strategy and take primary responsibility for managing and implementing the program. They’ll build relationships with grantee partners and bring community insights and learnings back to the team to help strengthen our grantmaking.

In this role, the Senior Program Officer will:

    • Lead the implementation of all aspects of Pride Foundation’s Community Grants program, including outreach, application review, administrative processes, reporting, and due diligence.
    • Develop region-wide outreach strategies in collaboration with the Grants Team.
    • Build and maintain relationships with grantee organizations, staying connected and up to date on organizational developments.
    • Lead the implementation of grantmaking processes for responsive funding and special initiative programs.
    • Support other grant programs as needed, including Capacity Beyond the Check and Movement Leadership Development initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the Grants Team and Senior Communications Manager to share stories about our grantmaking programs internally and externally.

This is a full-time, remote position. Because Pride Foundation is deeply rooted in the communities we serve, candidates must live in (or be willing to relocate to) Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington. Staff members in the greater Puget Sound region have the option to work out of our headquarters office in Seattle. The role also includes occasional evening and weekend work and approximately 10–20% travel throughout the region.
