Latino Creator Network Manager/Strategist

Overview

The Valiente Fund, a project of Way to Rise, is a hybrid fund and strategy center dedicated to increasing democratic engagement in the American Latino community through grantmaking in grassroots powerbuilding and media innovation.

Valiente is launching its first Latino Content Creator Cohort—a pilot initiative designed to support and activate culture-first Latino creators as trusted messengers in a crowded and often misinformed digital landscape. We are seeking a consultant to serve as the Latino Creator Network Manager/Strategist to lead, implement, and advise on this effort.

Scope of Work

The selected consultant will lead the design and implementation of the cohort program and work collaboratively with the Way to Win narrative team and the Valiente team to identify strategic narrative and digital opportunities within the Latino community.

1.Cohort Launch Support

• Collaborate with Valiente and Way to Win narrative staff to define the program’s goals, structure, and selection criteria.
• Lead or support participant recruitment and selection.
• Support the creation of cohort materials (training, communications, onboarding).
• Develop and manage the cohort program schedule.

2.Program Implementation

• Facilitate monthly virtual convenings with creators.
• Ensure timely completion and adaptation of cohort deliverables.
• Troubleshoot program logistics and improve participant experience.
• Coordinate with Valiente Fund’s program and operations staff for event support and logistics.
• Support planning of in-person gatherings, if applicable.

3.Narrative Strategy Design

• Advise on digital trends and content strategies relevant to Latino audiences.
• Provide strategic guidance and messaging input across key issue areas.
• Collaborate with Way to Win’s broader narrative strategy team to ensure alignment.

4.Participant Support & Community Building

• Foster peer learning and trust among cohort members.
• Act as the primary point of contact for cohort-related questions and guidance.
• Offer 1:1 or small group support as needed.

5.Evaluation & Reporting

• Track and analyze creator progress, feedback, and engagement.
• Support reporting to internal stakeholders on performance and lessons learned.
• Collect and synthesize content metrics and narrative impact indicators.

Desired Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in digital media, content strategy, or creator networks
• Experience working with Latino audiences or creators
• Strong program/project management and facilitation skills
• Knowledge of digital marketing and platform-specific engagement best practices
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required
• Experience in grantmaking, peer cohort leadership, or political media is a plus
