This position is ideal for an early-career professional who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to build skills in program management, data analysis, and nonprofit operations.

Reporting to the Director of Programs and working closely with the Director of Strategy and Operations, the Program & Impact Coordinator will support entrepreneurs, volunteers, and staff through a mix of program administration, data management, and event coordination.

This role is remote with the expectation to participate in some meetings and events monthly in-person in New York City.

    • Program operations and events run seamlessly, with efficient systems and timely communication.
    • Data on program activities and outcomes is accurate, up to date, and used to strengthen programming and demonstrate impact to funders.
    • The NYPACE team can rely on the Coordinator as a collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented colleague who contributes to special projects and organizational growth.

    Responsibility & Duties

    Entrepreneur & Volunteer Engagement

    • Represent NYPACE at in-person and virtual recruitment and outreach events with support from other staff.
    • Support Senior Program Managers in coordinating entrepreneur and advisor info sessions, eventually independently leading some info sessions.
    • Review and update entrepreneur applications for accuracy, contacting the applicant directly if needed. Additionally, monitor incomplete applications.
    • Assist Senior Program Managers in entrepreneur interviews.

    Program Administration

    • Provide operational and administrative support before and after program events (e.g., preparing materials, uploading contacts to Salesforce, etc.).
    • Manage Zoom and virtual registrations, Salesforce records, and participant reminders.
    • Provide day-of and backend support for workshops, clinics, orientations, and program closes.
    • Draft and schedule follow-up emails and share program-related resources.
    • Collaborate on social media and marketing assets to highlight programs.

    Data & Impact Management

    • Upload and maintain program data in Salesforce.
    • Track and update applicant statuses, ensuring timely follow-up.
    • Collect survey responses from entrepreneurs and advisors, calling individuals directly if needed.
    • Assist in analyzing and sharing program data for internal and funder reporting.

    Collaboration & Special Projects

    • Support Director of Programs and Director of Strategy and Operations with logistics and reporting.
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director and other team members on special projects.
    • Contribute to development and fundraising efforts as needed.
    • Participate in ad-hoc tasks and cross-department initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, nonprofit administration, or related field.
    • 1–3 years of professional experience in program coordination, events, or operations.
    • At least 1 year of professional experience in data management or survey administration.
    • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
    • Comfortable with public speaking and able to represent NYPACE at public-facing events, both virtually and in-person.
    • Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or other data tools; experience with formulas, pivot tables, or Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
    • Proficiency with Zoom, Canva, and Google Workspace/MS Office, or other office software (preferred competency).
    • Willingness to learn new skills or participate in trainings, as relevant to this role.
    • Mission-driven, adaptable, collaborative, and eager to support underrepresented entrepreneurs.
    • Must be based within a reasonable commuting distance to NYC.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary Range: $62,000 – $67,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
    • Performance Bonus: Opportunity for an annual performance bonus tied to individual and organizational achievements.
    • Fringe Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements.
