    Collective Youth Program Coordinator/Lead Educator

Organization: Geeking Out Kids of Color (GOKiC)

Location: West Seattle, WA / Hybrid

    Employment Type: Part-Time

    Schedule: 25 hours per week

    Pay Range: $26.00–$31.00 per hour

About Geeking Out Kids of Color (GOKiC)

Geeking Out Kids of Color (GOKiC) is a BIPOC-led nonprofit organization dedicated to liberating BIPOC youth through technology, education, and mentorship. We build and sustain youth programs rooted in community, computer science, and consciousness, creating opportunities for young people to develop digital literacy, leadership, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Our project-based technology curricula integrate computer science and emerging technologies with anti-racism, anti-sexism, multiculturalism, social-emotional learning, and decolonization frameworks. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and connections with BIPOC professionals and community members, we create culturally responsive spaces where young people can explore technology, strengthen their identities, build community, and envision new possibilities for themselves and their futures.

What makes GOKiC unique is our commitment to approaching technology education through an integrated lens of identity, equity, and liberation—centering the lived experiences, voices, and leadership of the young people and communities we serve.

    Job Summary

The Collective Youth Program Coordinator/Lead Educator leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of GOKiC’s Collective Youth (CY) Program.
