Our statewide organization has over 80 volunteers who answer inquiries and deliver presentations on advance care planning, end-of-life options (including California’s End of Life Option Act), and EOLCCA’s free services. We are a small organization led by an Executive Director and a Volunteer & Program Manager, and we are excited to expand our staff with this new position.

This role reports to the Volunteer & Program Manager.

In addition, the Education and Outreach Coordinator provides support to volunteers involved in the speakers program and outreach projects, in collaboration with the Volunteer & Program Manager and Speaker Program Coordinator.

    6. Follow up with event organizers and volunteer speakers for a summary of completed events.
      1. Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and Speakers Program outcomes.
      2. Provide periodic data reports on activities and impact.

    Outreach:

    1. Track outreach and education materials and manage distribution to volunteers and organizations requesting information about EOLCCA services.
    2. Assist the Volunteer & Program Manager in supporting outreach volunteers and teams (Hospice Outreach, etc.).
    3. Track volunteer outreach activities and their impact with support from the Volunteer & Program Manager.
    4. Assist the Volunteer & Program Manager with follow-up about new or updated resources (hospices, doctors, etc.) identified by outreach volunteers.
    5. Other duties as assigned.
