    Descripción

The Louisiana State Bar Association's (LSBA) Access to Justice (ATJ) Department seeks an organized, tech-savvy professional to fill the full-time position of ATJ Technology & Program Coordinator. The LSBA Access to Justice Department is a nationally recognized program housed at the Louisiana Bar Center in New Orleans and focused on improving access to justice for all Louisianians. The Access to Justice Program plays a unique role in providing information, facilitating connections, and offering resources/tools for the public, the courts, and advocates to support civil legal aid programs with the shared mission of ensuring access to justice for low-income families and underrepresented communities.

The ATJ Program staff members do not provide direct representation to clients but work collaboratively as a small team with Louisiana Justice Community stakeholders and LSBA Committees. Each team member is responsible for various projects and is encouraged to think creatively about how best to achieve the established goals.

    Position Overview

The ATJ Technology & Program Coordinator helps power the many day-to-day operations behind the department's programs, subcommittees, and public-facing initiatives. Working closely with the ATJ team and Louisiana Justice Community stakeholders, the Coordinator provides the scheduling, technology, and project coordination that keep the department's work running smoothly. This role is well suited for someone who is organized, tech-comfortable, and energized by variety. This is a full-time, in-person position based at the Louisiana Bar Center in New Orleans. It is not remote or hybrid.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

The ATJ Technology & Program Coordinator supports the department across a range of programs and initiatives, providing coordination and technology support that strengthens relationships and fosters coordination among Louisiana civil justice community members and partners.

    • Schedule meetings, draft agendas, capture and distribute notes, and track action items and follow-ups
    • Manage tasks and projects that arise across department programs and subcommittees, including the Disaster Response and Pro Bono subcommittees
    • Set up and run Zoom meetings and webinars for both hybrid and exclusively virtual events, including registration, streaming, and troubleshooting
    • Provide general technology support to the department and assist other entities and partners with their tech needs as it relates to ATJ-run programs
    • Maintain online resource access and keep public-facing information current and accurate
    • Support the ATJ Developing Leadership Intern Program — scheduling and outreach to partner organizations, host sites, and law schools
    • Manage Law Talks scheduling and coordinate outreach to libraries and presenters, including support for the virtual/live-streamed format
    • Provide flexible support across ATJ programs as needs arise

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
    • 2+ years of experience in program or project coordination, administrative support, event/meeting management, or technology/event support (virtual and in-person)
    • Hands-on comfort with:
      • Zoom (including meeting and webinar setup, registration, and live troubleshooting)
      • Microsoft Office
      • Google Workspace
    • General technology aptitude — able to learn new tools quickly and troubleshoot issues independently
    • Comfort explaining and supporting technology for non-technical users
    • Basic comfort updating and maintaining public-facing web content
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a range of external stakeholders, including law schools, public libraries, nonprofit organizations, and pro bono/legal services providers
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including action-item tracking and follow-through
    • Ability to work independently; self-motivated

    Preferred:

    • Hands-on comfort with Canva and Dropbox
    • Experience with a website content management system (CMS)
    • Interest in or exposure to access to justice, legal aid, or pro bono work
    • Experience coordinating volunteers, interns, or outreach to partner organizations
