    Descripción

    ASE Global Bridges a long-standing NY non-profit whose programming is recognized by the US Department of State Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs, American Council for International Education, Youth America Grand Prix and others. ASE is especially known for 20+years of youth programs in NYC & CT for elite, pre-professional students of dance. Among some of ASE's acclaimed initiatives are the John Cranko School Summer Intensive, collaboration with the renowned Stuttgart Ballet of Germany, and the International Contemporary Masters. Students who attend our programs come from all corners of the US and the world. The position is year-round, hybrid, and based out of NYC with a 5-6 week summer residency required at the Program's campus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Overseeing outreach and relationships with schools, teachers, vendors, and other partners
    • Managing the Program enrollment process, inclusive of:
      • Communication with families
      • Monitoring payment receivables
      • Form review
    • Preparation of Program Manuals and Forms
    • Engaging and negotiating with Program vendors
    • Overseeing Program's operations during summer 5-6 weeks
    • Program's summer on-site Staff team includes: Coordinating & Artistic Directors, Program Teachers, Parent Chaperons, Program Assistants, Athletic Directors. Coordinating Director's responsibilities will include:
      • Management of program staff (about 10-15)
      • Oversight & support of student dancers (about 150 ages 15-22 years), ensuring successful engagement in all of program activities
      • Communication with dancers' parents
      • Liasoning with the venues and vendors
      • Any other responsibilities associated with ensuring smooth operation of the program, as well as a safe and positive environment for all
      • Reporting to ASE's Vice President

    REQUIRED:

    • Appreciation of classical ballet, contemporary dance, and foreign cultures
    • Strong organizational, communication, administrative, and multitasking skills
    • Strong computer/on-line skills, specifically: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Databases, etc.
    • Detail oriented and comfortable/familiar with financial payments process
    • Proven experience of supporting youth in group environments and residential settings
    • Ability for weekend travel nationally during the months of Jan – Feb
    • Commitment to live on campus for 5-6 weeks of the summer program
    • Non-standard hours, including weekends, especially during July – August
    • Driver license and driving experience

    PREFERRED: Training and/or performing experience in classical ballet, social media & Google Ads skills

    Compensación
