Digital Media Manager

Position Overview

Sharing Life is seeking a creative and motivated Digital Media Manager to strengthen our online presence and community engagement. This individual will oversee the organization’s social media platforms, website, and marketing initiatives to inspire action, highlight impact, and support fundraising campaigns and events.

Duties and Responsibilities

• • Manage and grow Sharing Life’s social media platforms with engaging, mission-focused content.
  • Develop and schedule posts, graphics, stories, and videos to promote programs, events, and organizational milestones.
  • Maintain and update the organization’s website to ensure accuracy and appeal.
  • Coordinate Sharing Life’s digital presence in online fundraising campaigns (e.g., North Texas Giving Day, Giving Tuesday).
  • Create digital and print marketing materials to support fundraising campaigns, events, and general community awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
  • Track and analyze digital engagement metrics to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on social media and marketing trends to keep Sharing Life’s digital strategy fresh and relevant.
  • Support development team with some in-person outreach events such as restaurant fundraisers, community fairs, and ribbon cuttings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• • Experience in content creation and social media management.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and basic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with strong written and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Spanish fluency a plus
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule for occasional evenings and weekends during events.

Physical Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. The employee may lift, carry, or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
