About the College and Community Fellowship
The College and Community Fellowship (CCF) equips women and gender-expansive people impacted by the criminal legal system with skills to build sustainable futures for their families and communities through education, holistic support, advocacy, transformative, and innovative programming. Through our work, we facilitate pathways for our members to grow into the professionals, advocates, decision-makers, institutional leaders and influencers they desire to be.
Position Summary
CCF is seeking a Program Coordinator to be a part of an innovative team working to support members of the CCF program.
Ideally, you are a social justice advocate with a blended skill set in:
- Academic, adult academic, non-traditional student or workforce counseling;
- Community outreach and engagement;
- Resource and referral coordination;
- Grassroots policy advocacy leadership development;
- Support of justice-impacted women and gender-expansive people with trauma-informed and culturally sensitive proficiency; and,
- Use of adult learning methods and creative expression (visual arts, writing, film/photography) in teaching, public education, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Member recruitment presentations and outreach
- Data tracking, documentation and reporting using Salesforce
- Academic counseling and holistic student support
- Caseload management and member success planning
- Workshop and support group facilitation and curriculum delivery
- Stakeholder engagement and community partnership management
- Participation in community coalitions
- Special project and event planning/coordination
- Other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of related experience
- Solid background supporting justice-impacted individuals
- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments
