Emmanuel Gospel Center Job Opening
Social Media Manager
The Emmanuel Gospel Center (EGC) is dedicated to empowering the Church toward Shalom in Greater Boston. We employ a multifaceted approach encompassing applied research, systems practice, ministry development, and storytelling to illuminate the work of God in our region. Our ultimate goal is to translate these narratives into actionable strategies for the Church to address pressing community issues.
EGC is launching a multiplatform storytelling project that will tell high-quality and captivating stories that appeal to younger generations by speaking to their passions and pains, are told in formats and styles they prefer, and are relevant to both Christians and non-Christians. By delivering consistent, high-quality content about embodied hope, we are seeking to influence the appetite and algorithms of our viewers, deepening their commitments or curiosity toward a loving God. We will draw people of faith toward action and people of action toward faith.
We are seeking a Social Media Manager who thrives in a creative, collaborative environment and has a passion for storytelling, marketing, organization, and efficiency. The Social Media Manager will oversee our social media accounts, content rollout, platform engagement, short-form video development, and audience insight. They will manage multi-platform calendars, track analytics, shape distribution strategy, and build feedback loops to ensure content is both discoverable and impactful. Their work will inform creative development and support alignment with key audiences.
This role requires a proactive, tenacious individual who anticipates needs, addresses them with minimal direction, and serves as a reliable thought partner to our Storytelling Initiative creative team. This role is for you if you have a passion for visual storytelling, are well versed and up-to-date on social media marketing, are detail-oriented, adaptable, and resourceful.
