    Northeast Business Group on Health (NEBGH) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 employer-led coalition of healthcare leaders and stakeholders with more than 200 members, including employers, health plans, health systems, consultants, pharmaceutical companies, and innovators. Our mission is to empower our members to drive excellence in health and achieve the highest value in healthcare delivery and the consumer experience.

    Location: New York/Hybrid

    Hours: Full Time Exempt

    Reports to: COO

    Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year

    Position Overview:

    The Manager, Operations and Administration supports the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of NEBGH, helping to ensure the organization runs smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the COO, this role provides administrative, technology, human resources, and organizational support across a variety of functions.

    Working closely with the CEO, COO, and staff team, the Manager, Operations and Administration helps coordinate projects, maintain organizational systems and records, support internal communications, and assist with key administrative activities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable using technology, and enjoys supporting colleagues while managing a variety of responsibilities in a collaborative nonprofit environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operations and Administrative Management

      • Coordinate and support organizational projects, initiatives, and administrative activities.
      • Help track project timelines, action items, and follow-up activities.
      • Maintain organizational records, files, contracts, and other documentation.
      • Serve as a point of contact for vendors, consultants, and service providers.
      • Assist with meeting and event logistics, scheduling, and preparation of materials.
      • Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks.
      • Support communication and collaboration across the organization.

    Executive and Leadership Support

      • Provide administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense processing.
      • Assist the CEO and COO with special projects and organizational priorities.
      • Support administration of Salesforce and other organizational systems, including data entry, reporting, and user support.
      • Maintain organizational databases and help ensure information is accurate and up to date.
      • Prepare routine reports and summaries to support organizational planning and decision-making.
      • Assist with the implementation and use of technology tools that improve organizational effectiveness.

    Human Resources Administration

      • Track required employee training and compliance activities.
      • Support updates to employee policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook.
      • Assist with employee engagement and recognition activities.
      • Provide administrative support for onboarding, recruitment, and other HR-related activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 3-5 years of experience in administration, operations, nonprofit support, or a related field.
    • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM/database platforms.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
    • Comfortable learning and using new technology platforms.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
