Executive Director

The Executive Director is the chief executive and organizational leader, working with the Board of Directors, responsible for advancing LEAFB's mission through strategic leadership, financial stewardship, volunteer engagement, fundraising and community partnerships. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience in the a nonprofit, community service, or mission- driven organization. Experience leading and recruiting volunteers, fundraising and budgeting. Strong communication, relationship building, and problem solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft. Successful background check, Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance. Ability to work in office or warehouse and lift 30 pounds. Availability for occasional evenings, weekends and community events. Preferred bachelor's degree, grant writing and donor development experience, and Bilingual.
