This position helps build the operational infrastructure WorldWE requires as an independent organization while also supporting day-to-day donor engagement and event execution.

Salary range: $58,000–$68,000, commensurate with experience. WorldWE is a fully remote organization; salary is not adjusted by location.
Responsibilities
Operations & Independence Transition Support
- Support WorldWE's transition from Tides Center fiscal sponsorship to independent 501(c)(3) status, including tracking transition milestones and outstanding action items.
- Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across key functional areas (e.g., financial processes, HR/personnel administration, donor management, event execution) as WorldWE builds out independent organizational systems.
- Support all teams, program, policy, and development, in adopting and consistently following new SOPs and operational processes during and after the transition.
- Coordinate with WorldWE's outside bookkeeping/accounting support on routine administrative and financial processes.
- Help maintain organizational records, including board materials, governance policies (e.g., conflict of interest, document retention, whistleblower), and compliance documentation required for independent 501(c)(3) status.
- Support basic HR administrative functions, such as onboarding documentation, personnel recordkeeping, and benefits coordination as applicable.
- Assist with vendor and contract management, including tracking renewals for software subscriptions and service agreements.
- Provide general administrative and systems support to help the organization operate smoothly through and beyond the transition to independence.
CRM Implementation
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison with the CRM company's implementation manager.
- Work with WorldWE staff to ensure the CRM is set up correctly and being used consistently.
- Assist with data entry, data cleaning, and migration of existing records.
- Help train staff and serve as a go-to resource for CRM questions.
Donor Engagement and Communications
- Support the Development Team in drafting donor communications, acknowledgment letters, and outreach emails.
- Track donor interactions and follow-up tasks in the CRM.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records.
Events Support
- Assist with logistics and planning for WorldWE events.
- Help coordinate speakers, materials, and communications leading up to events.
- Provide on-site support as needed.
- Assist with post-event follow-up, including thank-you notes and evaluation summaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a related field.
- Three or more years of experience in a nonprofit setting, with exposure to operations, compliance, or organizational transitions strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams across departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with online databases and digital platforms.
- Commitment to WorldWE's mission to end human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
The Operations and Development Associate reports to the Director of Policy and works collaboratively with WorldWE staff across all departments.
Why Work for World Without Exploitation
WorldWE is in an energizing moment of growth. As we transition from a fiscally sponsored project to a fully independent 501(c)(3), this role offers a rare opportunity to help build the organization's foundational systems from the ground up and shape how we operate for years to come. Our small, mission-driven team moves fast on issues that matter, combating human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation through policy advocacy, survivor-centered programming, and public education. You'll work in close collaboration with our CEO and leadership, with real visibility into strategy and real ownership over your work from day one. If you're energized by a dynamic, high-impact environment where your contributions are felt immediately, this is the place to grow.
Work Environment
- This is a full-time, fully remote position.
- This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, often across multiple priorities and departments simultaneously.
