    About One Fair Wage

One Fair Wage is a national organization working to end all subminimum wages in the United States and raise wages and working conditions for all service workers. We advance worker-led campaigns that mobilize low-wage workers—particularly women, people of color, and immigrants—to demand policy change, build worker power, and shift public narratives through grassroots organizing, digital advocacy, and political action.

We are rapidly scaling our work in response to a growing movement for wage justice, and we’re seeking passionate, mission-driven individuals to join our team.

    Position Summary

The Digital Worker Organizer will play a key role in building online worker communities, mobilizing digital supporters, and driving engagement to advance One Fair Wage’s organizing and policy campaigns. You’ll use creative digital strategies and tools to connect with low-wage workers, amplify their stories, and turn online energy into offline action.

This position requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on—comfortable building email and SMS campaigns, running online meetings, coordinating social media actions, managing data, and experimenting with innovative approaches to online organizing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute digital campaigns to support national and state-based worker organizing efforts, legislative initiatives, and public education.
    • Manage and grow worker email, SMS, and social media lists; create content that drives conversions, worker engagement, and action.
    • Collaborate with worker organizers to integrate online and offline strategies and support organizing goals.
    • Use digital tools to build and maintain engagement pipelines.
    • Collect and amplify worker stories through digital content and campaigns.
    • Monitor analytics and optimize digital tactics for reach, performance, and impact.
    • Support rapid-response worker communications and actions as needed.
    • Assist with virtual events, trainings, and online mobilizations.
    • Identify emerging digital trends and tactics relevant to the progressive labor movement.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 3+ years of experience in worker organizing, digital organizing, digital communications, and/or a related field.
    • Strong writing skills, especially for persuasive and mobilizing digital content.
    • Experience with digital tools and platforms (e.g., ActionNetwork, Scale to Win, etc.).
    • Passion for economic justice, racial equity, and organizing low-wage workers.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, campaign-oriented environment.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

    Preferred:

    • Familiarity with organizing communities of color, immigrant communities, and/or service workers.
    • Graphic design, video editing, or basic HTML skills are a plus.
    • Experience working in a bilingual (English/Spanish) environment is a plus.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary range: $60,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience.
    • Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision).
    • Generous paid time off, including holidays and vacation.
    • Professional development opportunities.
    • Supportive, inclusive, and mission-driven workplace.
