Peer Recovery Family Support Opportunities – Multiple Maryland Locations

Join Santé's crisis response and recovery support teams across Maryland. We are seeking compassionate individuals with lived experience who are passionate about supporting individuals and families experiencing behavioral health and substance use challenges. Positions are available in multiple locations and schedules, including full-time, part-time, weekday, overnight, and weekend opportunities.

General Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required (some positions prefer some college coursework).
• Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to obtain certification within one year (Santé will cover certification costs where applicable).
• Lived experience in recovery and/or caring for a child with behavioral health needs, depending on the position.
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required.

• Location: Easton, MD
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Pay: $17.75–$20.50 per hour

Family Peer Support Specialist (MRSS)

• Location: Community-Based Services (Maryland)
• Schedule: Varies

• Education: High School Diploma/GED and lived experience caring for a child with behavioral health needs

Overnight Peer Recovery Specialist

• Location: Westminster, MD
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Education: High School Diploma/GED and at least two years of related experience
  • Pay:Uncertified: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
  • Certified: $23.00–$24.00 per hour
  • Plus up to 20% overnight shift differential

Peer Recovery Specialist – Every Other Weekend

• Location: Charlotte Hall, MD
  • Schedule Options:Every Other Weekend, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Every Other Weekend, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
• Employment Type: Part-Time
• Education: High School Diploma/GED and CPRS certification
  • Pay:Uncertified: $18.75–$21.50 per hour
  • Certified: $21.50–$25.50 per hour

What You'll Do

• Provide peer support, crisis intervention, and de-escalation services.
• Assist with crisis assessments, safety planning, and treatment planning.
• Connect individuals and families with community resources and ongoing services.
• Collaborate with clinicians, law enforcement, first responders, and community partners.
• Complete documentation and maintain compliance with agency standards.
• Participate in outreach, education, and recovery support activities.
