    At Madison Park Development Corporation, we are building healthy communities. MPDC is a leading developer of affordable housing and one of the largest community development corporations in Massachusetts. We take a multi-dimensional approach to community development by offering impactful programming for youth development, health and community wellness, public safety, resident leadership, civic engagement, and arts & culture. MPDC is a 60-year-old community development corporation with an affordable housing rental portfolio consisting of fourteen distinct developments and totaling 1,249 units. Additionally, MPDC owns three commercial properties totaling over 100,000 sq. ft.

    The Asset Management function at MPDC is managed by the Senior Asset Manager. The Community Action function at MPDC consists of eight members that manage and coordinate our community programs and services.

    The Asset Management (AM) VISTA will support development of systems and tools that strengthen long-term sustainability, reporting practices, portfolio monitoring, and housing preservation efforts. The AM VISTA’s primary focus will be strengthening compliance tracking and documentation systems. The secondary focus of the VISTA member will be to support the Community Action department with systematically measuring program effectiveness, accessibility and outcomes.

    By the end of the AM VISTA service term, you will have developed sustainable systems and tools that strengthen organizational capacity in Asset Management and Community Action programs.

    Member Duties : The AM VISTA at MPDC will work in collaboration with the Asset Management and Community Action departments. In collaboration with the Senior Asset Manager, the AM VISTA will support in developing and implementing property deal book systems and tools for MPDC’s affordable housing rental assets. The AM VISTA will develop and strengthen systems and tools for organizing, tracking, and managing financial, compliance, partnership, and regulatory information. These systems and tools will support long-term portfolio sustainability and housing preservation efforts. In collaboration with the Community Action team, the AM VISTA will design, develop, and pilot a standardized Program Assessment & Evaluation Tool for MPDC programs and services.
