    Background:

Chicago CRED is a mission driven organization working to achieve transformational reduction in violence in Chicago. Department Function:

The Data Team collects and presents data and information to support day-to-day program operations, measure program outcomes and impact, resource allocation, and program strategies. The team also supports data needs for a variety of CRED and non-CRED Teams, including CRED’s Program, Development, and Finance Teams, community partners, funders and researchers.

    Position Summary:

    • Verify accuracy and completeness of participant data in Salesforce
    • Communicate with staff regarding outstanding payments
    • Troubleshoot and resolve payment issues with staff and payment processor
    • Coordinate cancellation and resubmission of failed or expired payments; document activity in Salesforce

    Data Quality & Reporting:

    • Import and export payment data into/out of Salesforce to meet reporting and operational needs
    • Audit attendance entries for accuracy, identifying duplicates, omissions, or incorrect service types and coordinate corrections with sites and data team
    • Prepare bi-weekly summary updates for Program Leadership on stipend trends and site-level patterns or issues to resolve

    Training & Support:

    • Provide training sessions for staff to ensure:
      • Clear communication to participants regarding the stipend process
      • Stipend calculation methods align with Program Leadership expectations
      • Accurate and timely group attendance entries
      • Effective onboarding for new staff involved in the stipend process
      • Maintain and update training materials, documentation, and protocols

    Process Improvement:

    • Identify and implement process improvements related to stipend calculation, documentation and workflows
    • Support the development of scalable technical solutions for managing stipends as program needs evolve
    • Collaborate with the Data Team and Program Leadership to improve automation, accuracy, and reliability of stipend-related processes

    Experience and Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain processes to audiences with varied technical backgrounds
    • Prior administrative, operations, or program management experience
