About New England Justice for Our Neighbors

Now in our 13th year of service, New England Justice for Our Neighbors (New England JFON) is a non-profit organization providing free, expert legal services to Massachusetts immigrants seeking humanitarian-based visas. Our clients include asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors, and victims of violence.

    Position Summary

New England JFON seeks an experienced Operations Manager to join our small team. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Operations Manager will play an important role in several areas, including Marketing/Communications, Compliance, Financial Operations, Human Resources, Clinic Operations, and Special Projects. The Operations Manager will also research and implement new technology/tools, assist with reporting of various types, and keep our remote organization digitally organized. New England Justice for Our Neighbors is a growing and changing organization. The person filling this new role will carry out a wide range of tasks and will have significant impact on our success during this exciting phase.

The Operations Manager position is a mostly-remote role with a large amount of flexibility, and will start at 20-30 hours per week, with a likelihood of moving to full-time if desired. It may be a good fit for someone with caregiver, academic, or other responsibilities who is looking for meaningful hybrid/remote work. The Operations Manager will be expected to attend in-person meetings on occasion, perhaps 2 - 4 times per month, and to run occasional errands.
