Executive Director for Non-Profit — Resources for Infant Educarers® (RIE®)

    Full-Time, Exempt | Base Salary: $75,000 | Unlimited PTO

Resources for Infant Educarers® (RIE®) is seeking an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations, compliance, financial administration, human resources, fund development, and membership administration, while also driving revenue growth for our class programming — including RIE® Foundations™, RIE® Practicum™, RIE® Internship™, Parent-Infant Guidance™, Before Baby™, Nurturing Nanny™, and Cuidadoras Cariñosas™.

This is a highly independent, entrepreneurial role: the Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors and operates without administrative support, so comfort using AI tools and automation to manage a busy workload efficiently is essential.

This position offers a remote, flexible work schedule and unlimited PTO.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    Operations & Compliance

    • Oversee day-to-day operations, including finances, contracts, and vendor relationships
    • Negotiate leases and manage relationships with property-service vendors
    • Maintain organizational insurance coverage (D&O, General Liability, Workers' Comp, etc.)
    • Administer membership onboarding, renewals, and related communications
    • Prepare financial reports, coordinate the annual 990 filing, and support Board reporting

    HR & Payroll

    • Oversee staff attendance and hours, run payroll, and serve as HR administrator
    • Manage payment structures for course teachers, workshop providers, orientation leaders, and RIE® Mentor teachers

    Fund Development & Donor Relations

    • Lead fund development and donor relations
    • Maintain donation records and a donor/family contact database

    Intellectual Property & Inventory

    • Support trademark renewal and monitoring with outside counsel
    • Manage physical and streaming content inventory across our locations
    • Support inventory promotion through social media, email, and the website

    Class Revenue

    • Set class fees, enrollment targets, and revenue projections
    • Oversee registration and enrollment tracking; keep class offerings current on the website
    • Monitor revenue performance and execute instructor/venue contracts
    • Own class marketing strategy

    ABOUT YOU

Nonprofit management experience and familiarity with membership-based or education-focused organizations are a plus.
