We are looking for a Program Manager to help us launch and lead our new afterschool programming in Broward County. If you love building things from the ground up, thrive on relationships, and want your work to directly shape kids' lives, this is your opportunity.
What You Will Do
- Lead the day-to-day launch of FLIPANY's first-ever after-school program from site readiness and staffing plans to schedules and operations
- Coordinate summer camp programming for up to 60 youth
- Recruit, hire, onboard, schedule, and supervise afterschool and summer program staff
- Be the go-to person for parents and caregivers (enrollment, attendance, forms, and everyday questions)
- Keep programs running safely and smoothly through site visits, daily monitoring, and hands-on support
- Handle licensing prep, permits, inspections, and compliance documentation
- Track data and reporting in SAMIS and support funder compliance
- Help build the playbook, documenting workflows and procedures as we grow
What You Bring
- An active Director Credential (DCF or equivalent) — required
- 2–4 years of experience coordinating or managing afterschool and/or summer camp programs
- A Level 2 background screening clearance (via the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse)
- A valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation for site travel
- Comfort with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
- Sharp organizational skills, a knack for juggling priorities, and genuine warmth with kids, families, and staff
- Bachelor's degree preferred; experience with The Children's Service Council, The Children's Trust, Broward school district, or other publicly funded youth programs is a plus
- Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends as programs need
