    About Us

New Majority Capital Foundation (NMCF) is a mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to eliminating persistent wealth gaps across the United States. We believe in the transformative power of entrepreneurship to create generational wealth and bridge the ownership divide.

Our flagship initiative, bET, is a 10-week Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) accelerator that equips underrepresented entrepreneurs with the skills, network, and resources to acquire, operate, and scale small businesses. Fellows receive training, mentorship, post-program support, and assistance with access to capital.

    About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and adaptable Program Manager (PM) West to lead the successful delivery of bETA across our target cities on the West coast and Southwest region of the US. The ideal candidate will be based in Los Angeles to administer local and regional hybrid programming. While an accelerator is running, this will require evening hours at least twice per week. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate moving pieces in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work closely with NMCF leadership, faculty, business advisors, mentors, and partners to ensure the smooth program execution from recruitment to graduation. You’ll also help build and strengthen partnerships within local ecosystems to support our fellows’ success.

    Key Responsibilities

    Program Operations & Delivery

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the 10-week accelerator, ensuring sessions run smoothly and on time.
    • Manage program calendars, session logistics, venues, speaker bookings, and virtual tech setup
    • Facilitate engaging learning experiences, co-hosting sessions with faculty and advisors
    • Plan and oversee special events and in-person sessions, ensuring effective preparation, run-of-show, and participant experience, in collaboration with the Program Coordinator.
    • Supervise vendor management handled by the Program Coordinator, ensuring contracts, services, and delivery align with program needs and standards.
    • Track attendance, collect evaluations, and manage program materials
    • Gather participant feedback and implement improvements for future cohorts.

    Recruitment & Onboarding

    • Implement recruitment strategies with NMCF and Site Team to attract high-potential entrepreneurs.
    • Manage applications while adhering to applicant criteria/metrics, schedule and conduct interviews, and deliver acceptance/rejection notifications.
    • Coordinate onboarding and initial program setup for selected fellows.

    Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

    • Build strong relationships with mentors, guest speakers/panelists, and industry experts.
    • Develop partnerships with local ecosystem stakeholders.

    Administrative & Budget Management

    • Coordinate logistics between site team and participants for classes and events (in-person and virtual).
    • Working alongside the Program Coordinator, manage the ordering and organization of supplies and class materials, coordinate all full-day in-person sessions, and secure contracts with various vendors.
    • Oversee the submission of contracts for approval, process payments and invoices, and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with the budget.

    What You Bring

    • 3-5+ years in program management, accelerator/incubator operations, entrepreneurial education, or classroom management.
    • Proven ability to work in a diverse team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
    • Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building abilities; proven track record of managing multiple priorities effectively.
    • Flexibility, adaptability, impeccable judgement, and a commitment to equity, and inclusion.
    • Fluency in/lived experience in wealth gap impacts and socioeconomic nuances among historically marginalized populations
    • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Asana, Zoom, LMS platforms, CRM tools, and (most importantly) comfort learning new technologies.

    Work Location

NMCF is a remote-first organization. This position is remote with the exception of mandatory in-person days before, during, and immediately after each accelerator cohort is onboarded in addition to team offsites, program and ad hoc events, and all-hands meetings. The Program Manager West must have reliable transportation. Travel more than 100 miles will be reimbursed and is expected for the following:

    • Annual offsites with national team
    • In-person presentations as needed
    • Conferences
    • bETA launches and programmatic events

    Why You’ll Love It Here

We are a dedicated, collaborative and mission-driven team, and the joy of this position is seeing the direct impact of our work on the underrepresented entrepreneurs whose dreams are realized through ETA.

We (actually) live by our values:
