The position is to be filled at the earliest possible date on a part-time basis (50%) and is initially limited until 30.09.2027 as a parental leave replacement. You can be based in Bonn or Berlin, Germany, and flexible home office arrangements are possible at any time by agreement.
Our goal is clear: to reach #zerohunger worldwide. To achieve this, we need strong partners and supporters - and foundation partners are becoming increasingly important. As Manager Foundations, you will manage our partnerships with German foundations and establish new contacts to work together in the fight against hunger and poverty. Are you a networker who enjoys managing relationships and building and maintaining partnerships? Then you've come to the right place! (If you haven't worked in the foundation sector before, that's no problem. By working closely with the team, you will quickly become familiar with the German foundation landscape).
Your responsibilities
As part of a small and dedicated team, you will take responsibility for partnerships with German and international foundations and directly contribute to financing our projects in 36 countries. What makes this role particularly unique is the diversity of people you will engage with. You will advise donors and foundation staff on their engagement and maintain close, regular communication with our colleagues in programme countries—whether for proposal development, project reporting, or planning field visits.
