Position Overview
The Membership Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting IFIP’s global membership by assisting with all aspects of the membership program. This includes onboarding, renewal, and CRM management and maintenance. The Coordinator is a key focal point for our global community of members, ensuring they have full access to membership benefits, services, and resources. This position reports to the Engagement and Communications Director and works closely with the IFIP team to promote outreach for IFIP’s events and programs.
The ideal candidate is mission-driven, data-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled at building and maintaining systems and processes. The Coordinator is a team player who supports relationship management with members and collaborates with the team on outreach efforts to effectively support our programs. The individual must be an effective communicator with members from around the world and be highly motivated to amplify Indigenous philanthropy. They will work closely with the communications team to highlight events, share member updates, and communicate opportunities, while also responding promptly to member requests. This role requires a candidate who brings experience working at a membership-based network, has an understanding of member services, and first-hand knowledge of Indigenous Peoples’ issues.

Job details: This is a full-time, hybrid position with 4 days per month at the Sacramento, CA office required. Candidates must be based in Greater the Sacramento Area or San Francisco Bay Area and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $68,000 – $76,000 based on experience. IFIP offers a competitive benefits package, including paid time off and holidays.
