Clinical Social Worker

Our outpatient behavioral health clinic, Raices Casa BienEstar, caters to adults aged 18 and older across the five boroughs of New York City. The Spanish Speaking Elderly Council – RAICES is looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a comprehensive range of clinical services to individuals and families, including conducting behavioral health assessments, facilitating therapy sessions, and managing cases effectively. This position serves a predominantly Spanish-speaking and aging population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
• Develop, implement, and regularly update person-centered treatment plans
• Manage a clinical caseload and coordinate care with community providers
• Document client interactions and progress in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and supervision

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• New York State LCSW license strongly preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health settings
• Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Fluent in Spanish (speaking and writing) required
• Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
