Social Media & Communications Manager (Part-Time)
Hours: 8-10 hours per week Compensation: $25/hour Start Date: Feb 16, 2026
Location: Remote (U.S.-based), with preference for candidates in the SF Bay Area
Schedule: Flexible; ideally available 9-5pm PST one or two days per week (Mon-Thurs)

The Trans Advocacy & Care Team (TACT) is a trans-led nonprofit building a national peer support network for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive adults. We offer free virtual peer counseling, support groups, and resource navigation for people across the U.S.

About the role:
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and community-rooted storyteller to help share TACT’s work with the world. The Social Media & Communications Manager will design and publish engaging digital content that speaks directly to trans community members, volunteers, and donors. This part-time role is perfect for someone who loves design, writing, and crafting messages that feel honest, vibrant, and aligned with trans liberation.
You’ll create social media posts and newsletters that uplift trans stories, advertise our services, and invite people into our community—with the goal of increasing engagement, expanding our reach, and strengthening our impact.

We are looking for candidates with strong visual design skills, especially experience creating content for social media. Please provide examples of your original work—links to social media accounts, posts, campaigns, graphics, or any other digital content you’ve created. The more examples you can share, the better we can understand your design style, creativity, and ability to communicate effectively.
