Junior Expert Marketing*

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

Welthungerhilfe's Online and Engagement teams design key areas of communication for a young target group - from social media and creator cooperations to interactive formats and events.

As a Junior Expert Marketing, you will support the team at the interface between online communication and engagement. You will bring in fresh perspectives, develop creative content formats and actively work on cooperations, events and integrate them into digital campaigns.

You will gain deep insights into the communication work of an internationally active development organization - with plenty of room for your own ideas, strategic thinking and creative implementation.

Your responsibilities

• Interface between engagement and online team - e.g. for topic planning, content development or influencer campaigns and partnerships
• Support in the development and independent implementation of suitable formats for young target groups
• Supporting our partnerships (e.g. in sport) and festival campaigns digitally - whether with live formats, behind-the-scenes content or spontaneous stories
• The opportunity to stand in front of the camera yourself - authentically, creatively, with attitude
• Active support in community management - especially on platforms such as TikTok, Twitch or Instagram
• Identification of current trends and platforms - what is moving, touching, inspiring and what is not
• Use of AI tools to quickly recognize, evaluate and react to trends, comments or moods and derive concrete ideas from them.

Your profile

• A University or College degree in a relevant subject area
• Initial experience with social media, content creation or online communication - whether professionally, during your studies, in projects or privately
• You care about social issues
• Courage to try things out, test new things, accept, implement and give constructive feedback
• Enjoy working creatively and producing content yourself - whether video, text, memes or live
• Openness and motivation to use AI tools such as ChatGPT or Canva
• Team spirit - you enjoy working across disciplines and at eye level and approach people openly
• You recognize the growing value of data in your field and are eager to build your awareness and skills to incorporate data-informed approaches into your work
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
