ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clinical Director will oversee the coordination of clinical services within the Supportive Housing Program with a focus on both behavioral and physical health. The Clinical Director provides guidance and supervision to a team of case management and clinician staff, as well as creating systems that enhance services. The Clinical Director will:
- Supervise the coordination of services and clinical and case management staff ensuring daily activities are held according to program protocols and is line with RiseBoro’s mission
- Receive referrals for tenant placement, review all documentation, schedule, and conduct interviews for incoming tenants
- Hire qualified team members and ensure staff have the resources they need to succeed
- Support, observe, and guide staff in working effectively with tenants and implementing evidence-based practice models
- Conduct weekly supervision, including case conferences, with staff to ensure appropriate delivery of services, tenant, and programmatic success, assess staff performance, and provide support for job development
- Oversee the completion of tenant needs assessments and support staff in developing ongoing, individualized, tenant-centered service plans
- Work with Program Administrator and Director of Supportive Services on program buildout at its inception
- Leading staff in health care planning, as appropriate, and care team planning
- Work to ensure tenant adherence to physical and behavioral health medication
- Support the Tenant Services Director and other program staff’s efforts to design independent living skills curriculum and its implementation
- Provide conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and crisis de-escalation, as need arises
- Approve and submit accurate timecards for all direct reports
- Establish and maintain a rotating on call assignment and emergency phone protocols
- Complete and submit reports to Program Administrator for review and submission to funding source and Director of Supportive Services
- Conduct regular audits of charts and files
- Initiate disciplinary action and develop performance improvement plans for staff as needed; conduct annual performance evaluations and assist staff in the creation of goals for improved program implementation
- Is on call 24 hours a day/seven days a week in case of emergencies

- Trained in child development, mandated reporting, and family dynamics
- Trained in harm reduction and housing first services approaches
- Experience with evidence-based practices and/or evidence-informed services including, but not limited to:
- Positive Youth Development
- Recovery-Oriented and Trauma-Informed Case Management
- Critical Time Intervention
- Commitment to RiseBoro’s mission of unleashing the potential of communities to thrive, no matter the odds
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed Master of Social Work, LMSW required - LCSW preferred
- At least 3 years of relevant social service experience, particularly in providing clinical and counseling services to young adults and young adult families
