The Congregation of the Sisters of St Joseph of Boston is seeking a mission-driven Administrator for their Motherhouse and administrative offices to lead daily operations and oversee a welcoming environment that supports a vibrant quality of life for the sisters and a positive experience for staff, guests, and ministry partners. The Administrator will work in collaboration with Congregation leadership to promote a safe, healthy, compassionate, and well-managed facility grounded in the values of respect, integrity and service.
In this role, the Administrator oversees facility operations and supports budgeting and financial stewardship, oversees that services are adequately provided, helps ensure effective staffing and service delivery, and collaborates on safety, emergency preparedness, hospitality, and property operations. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and thoughtful Administrator who can balance excellence with appreciation for the culture and mission of religious life.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a mission-centered environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Background in communal, residential support or assisted living, or a related environment preferred
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies and assess effectiveness
- Experience supervising staff, property management, and assessment of needs
- Must possess strong professional written, verbal and technology skills and ability to multitask.
- Must be able to incorporate the mission and charism of the Congregation into the day-to-day operations
