We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a donor engagement officer role for the eastern region. This donor engagement officer must live in the region.
Summary:
The Donor Engagement Officer (DEO) for the eastern region provides philanthropic support and customer service to the Foundation’s fundholders in eastern North Carolina including general fund education, grantmaking research and expertise, and collaboration with development staff on fund growth opportunities and legacy planning. This role embraces and models values of diversity, equity, and inclusion into all NCCF operations as we advance our mission.
Core responsibilities include:
Work collaboratively with the director of donor engagement and development officer for the eastern region to identify prospective fundholders to engage in repeat gifts, deeper engagement in the work of the Foundation, legacy planning, and/or gifts to NCCF Operating Endowment, create, plan and implement fundholder communication, education, engagement activities and special initiatives

The person in this position is expected to travel extensively within the above counties. Some overnight travel within the region and to NCCF’s Raleigh office is expected.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to work with a committed, engaged team. The hiring range for this position is $72,000 to $74,000, depending upon qualifications and experience. NCCF is an equal opportunity employer.
