    Job Summary

    The Administrative and Program Coordinator will support the organization in executing all R.A.G.E. program initiatives, creating and maintaining a productive office environment and supporting the CEO in day to day activities. This role will work directly with all R.A.G.E team members and resident members, as well as Englewood residents, to ensure R.A.G.E. delivers high quality information, resources and general support on an as needed and as requested basis. This role requires exceptional organization, communication, responsiveness and a genuine commitment to resident empowerment .

    Strong preferences will be given to candidates from the Englewood community who understand our neighborhood's challenges and opportunities firsthand. If not from Englewood, candidates must demonstrate a genuine love for the community and ability to relate authentically to residents.

    Responsibilities may include any or all of the following:

    Administrative Coordination

    • Project tracking on an as-requested basis
    • Managing purchasing, making recommendations, receiving approvals supporting ordering and receiving
    • Handle all event and new member registrations
    • Manage event RSVPs
    • Coordinate member volunteers for various events, as requested
    • Develop and manage event checklists
    • Support adherence to event execution timelines

    Operations and Logistics

    • Ensuring sufficient office supplies for office operations at all times
    • Coordinating vendors across multiple events
    • Monitoring and managing the phones and properly routing inquiries
    • Providing support for scheduling meetings, visits and other events
    • Managing and tracking meeting and event logistics, run of shows and supporting on-time coordination
    • Coordinating facility availability, entry and exit timelines and support needed

    Membership Support

    • Track membership applications and maintain accurate database records
    • Address member inquiries and connect them with appropriate resources
    • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of membership packages, including organizing membership materials, resources, and relevant R.A.G.E. information.
    • Track member participation in R.A.G.E. programs and events

    Re-Up Our Future Youth Program Support

    • Track scholarship applications and supporting documentation
    • Support the execution of the Re-Up Our Future Luncheon
    • Document the mentor-mentee matching processes
    • Track youth participation in entrepreneurship programming
    • Support outreach efforts to schools and youth-serving organizations

    Community Engagement Support

    • Track resident participation and maintain accurate database records
    • Support the execution of community forums and economic justice workshops
    • Address resident inquiries and connect them with appropriate resources
    • Coordinate distribution of community resources and advocacy materials
    • Track resident involvement in economic justice campaigns and initiatives

    Economic Justice Support

    • Track applications and supporting documentation for economic assistance programs
    • Support the planning and execution of economic justice forums and events
    • Track participation in entrepreneurship and workforce development programming
    • Support outreach efforts to local businesses and economic development organizations

    General Responsibilities

    • Attend staff meetings and training sessions designed to increase professional knowledge
    • Promote R.A.G.E. positively when representing the organization at professional meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences and establishing and maintaining credible relations with partners, allies, volunteers, governmental entities and other community-based organizations
    • Contribute to the overall success of R.A.G.E. by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed

    Qualifications

    • Experience in community organizing, community engagement and outreach (strongly preferred)
    • Ability to communicate effectively with people of all race/ethnicities, ages, cultural groups, economic status, disabilities and sexual orientation
    • Comfortable speaking with strangers and in public
    • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
    • Comfort in working independently and efficiently
    • Availability to work evening and weekend hours when needed
    • Dependable transportation
    • Strong organizational, detail-orientation and follow-through skills
    • Enthusiasm about community outreach and/or organizing
    • Proficiency in Glue-Up, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint or proven ability to adapt quickly
    • Ability to relate authentically to Englewood residents and value their expertise

    Physical Requirements

    • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
    • Local travel required and some evening and weekend work
    • Primary work hours will be between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm with flexible scheduling options
