    POSITION SUMMARY

The Washington State Policy Campaigner helps develop and implement advocacy campaigns that advance Toxic-Free Future's mission to protect people and communities from harmful chemicals and plastics. Working closely with senior campaign, policy, communications, and organizing staff, the Campaigner helps drive policy change through legislative and regulatory advocacy, coalition coordination, organizing, research, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

This role will be based in the greater Seattle/Olympia area and is ideal for someone who understands how policy change happens and is ready to take ownership of significant campaign responsibilities while continuing to grow as a strategist and leader. The Campaigner manages projects and campaign components, builds relationships with partners and decision-makers, and helps execute advocacy strategies that advance Toxic-Free Future's priorities in Washington state and beyond. This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and sustain a high level of activity during the legislative session, which typically runs from January through March or April.
