    BronxWorks is hiring one (1) Help Desk Specialist for the IT Program.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone, Zoho Desk ticketing system, email, or in-person.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops. laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
    • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
    • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
    • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems.
    • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides through SharePoint and the Zoho Desk ticketing system Knowledge Base.
    • Conduct user training sessions on IT tools and best practices.
    • Stay current with technological trends and developments to provide proactive support and recommendations.
    • Manage and support Microsoft online tools such as Intune, Office 365, and SharePoint.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
    • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network + required
    • 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role required
    • Strong oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods of time.
    • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of technical equipment.
    • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods.
    • Ability to climb flights of stairs or ladders.
    • Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct field work.
